What kind of problems are you having? I have tried your example man -t
rmdir | lpr -Plex3200 and it printed fine. The text is a little small,
but the formatting looks correct. I did change the LANG argument in
/etc/sysconfig/i18n to POSIX. Whether or not this helped I cannot say.

Because rpm checks dependencies, you can get stuck in this loop. The
only consistent way I have seen is Riemer's suggestion. I put all the
related rpms in a temp directory, then use rpm -Fvh *.rpm. If I see
another dependency check I get that package until all install.
