Yes, you could set up a web proxy and the Windows machine would be able to surf the
Internet without having a direct connection and you would not have to arrange for a
router.
But I don't think many people do this for a few reasons. First, the Windows box will
have web access (of some quality)
I hope this isn't being sent as HTML... if so, I'm sorry, there is no option in this
web interface to turn it off.
You almost have it. Two things: First, some magic has to happen to allow both
machines to share a single IP address. Recent Windows calls it Connection Sharing,
IIRC, and in Lin
Also, 'cut' is made for this sort of thing...

I am terribly annoyed with this problem but I cannot solve it. In a program I use,
the up-arrow is supposed to scroll through recent commands. At the text console. this
works fine. In a Konsole command prompt, the up-arrow sometimes inputs 'OA'
(capital-o, capital-a) and othertimes crashes th

claims to support it and, indeed, when I insert it into my cheap
Walmart.com computer, all seems well. I see a message from the BIOS on
