cdrom problems

Hi! I have redhat7.1 on my system with a cdrom drive with dma issues.I turned off the dma with hdparm utility.I have no problems accessing the device most of the time but certain times it locks up & I have nothing to do but turn off the power. Pls advise. AGNIJIT Get Your Private, Free E-mail
