continually cutting me off, it works fine on RH 7.0 (actually seems
marginally stabler than the windows version).

I've been using the version of XMMS shipped with RH7.1 on RH7.0 quite
happily - doing CDs, Ogg Vorbis and a few mp3s, no crashes yet. IMHO it
seems stabler for me than the version that ship
y to correct this. I know it is the monitor because swapping for a
different (higher quality) one fixes this problem.
