have you setup user for samba in linux
if you dont then
login as root in your linux box
check to see if the smbpasswd file is in /etc/samba/ or /etc/ depending on
your
if no then copy from /etc/passwd
run smbpasswd and make use that this user in a linux user as
well.

I installed redhat 7.00, but can't get eth0. I have 3com pci 900B tpo
ethernet card. I tried specifying 3c59x in linuxconf, but the computer
crashes. Any suggestions?
