newline at the end of the file:

sed: Missing newline at end of file somefile.html.
How do I keep sed from removing the newlines at the end of each line? What is
causing that error message?

I had tried to use (older) 3Com cards, but they wouldn't work at all, no matter
what I tried. For these cards, all I did was install them, power-up, and kudzu
detected and configured them instantly.
