with wsize,rsize,sync,async,nfsvers (2 and 3) which has made no
difference. I have 2.4.9-31 and 2.4.9-21 on the RH7.1 servers. I have
2.4.18-5 or 2.4.18-10 on the RH7.3 clients, both showing the problem.

I am using the 8 port 7500 card with Raid 5. I have about 10 of them
now with 120 drives giving 800GB each. The have worked great (so far).
