On a test system i want to restore a root partition from a dump backup
take up on a
same hard disk..
For a practice i deleted important files from a root..before that i took
dump backup of root..
so how should i boot system now and restore deleted files

My disk have 10gb unpartioned sapce.
How can i increase /usr to 3gb??

after successfully installing red-hat linux 7.1..when i reboot my machine
I got vfs error unable to boot 16:04 (kernal panic ) messages..
What should i do??
