Depends on what it is you want to do. My (admittedly biased) suggestion is
that you study Computer Science. I'm sure that there are good Information
Systems departments, but typically, the caliber of developer I see in CS vs.
IS leaves no room for comparison. CS graduates are eminently more
employ

AFAIK, the concept of auto-running in Linux doesn't really exist. You have
to manually mount a CD, or Linux doesn't even know it's there. I know Gnome
has a habit of auto-mounting CDs, but that's at an application level, not an
OS level. In windows, this feat is accomplished basically by yammering
dules. Otherwise, I'd spend my time inspecting my
browser configurations.

I've received a number of suggestions regarding linear function plotting
software. I've settled on using GUNPlot - it does a bang-up job, and there
is a (beta) version available for Windows as well.
