my problem is that it it finds the modem
as a com-port during start-up but refuses
to let me use the com-port afterwards,
it does the same in the *OTHER* operating system

me is that whenever you launch a application under
KDE it launches Konsole also, is there anyway to shut

kernel release (2.2.15). If the audio problem really is related to this,
upgrading to the next kernel may be the solution.

I know this is a off the topic question but does anyone know anywhere you
can get wire channels/wire guides (for exterior wires) in the US that you
don't have to pay a arm and a leg for? I priced wire channels and they were

to change the processor speed on the motherboard
to 333 or simmilar, boot up, apply the patch, then
change the speed back. But thats in the Windooz world :)
