I use Kmail 1.3.1 ( KDE 2.2-11)
Each time I open the 'sent mail' folder, the whole thing freezes ans i have
to log out and reboot KDE. A bit like Windows.
Can anyone help, please?

I am a home user running RH 7.2 kernel 2.4.9-31 on i686
Things are running well
-should I upgrade the kernel?
-any reason why I should upgrade to RH8?
only problem:
I use Kmail (KDE 2.2-10) and when I click on the 'sent mail' folder, KDE
freezes. I have to restart KDE to unfreeze

When I installed RH 7.2 on a disk which has Win98, I couldn't partition
with fdisk. Druid did not seem to work either so I used Magic Partition.
Worked well.

Today was an improvement. Out of 143 msgs, I got 140. Went to see what sort
of msgs was blocking but again, nothing unusual, 3KB. Then I can still send
but not receive. Back to Windows to download the rest. This seems to

Yes, sometimes it downloads 2 or 5 and then stops. I cannot reconnect
then unless I log off and start again. If I try downloading the rest of
my msg with netscape, the same happens. usually I have to go back to Win
98 to download without problem. It only happens when I have a lot of msg

Mozilla. It just blocks. Then I realized the same ( block) happens when
