SCSI Controller Compatible with Redhat 7.3

2002-09-25 Thread Greg Darby
Hi,   I am wondering if anyone could advise of a SCSI Controller Card (LVD U160) that would be compatible with RedHat 7.3.  A LSI would be prefable. I have noticed the lists at hardware.redhat.com do not reference 7.3 at all.   Your help would be appreciated.   Regards   Greg Darby Systems

Upgrading Hard disk from IDE to SCSI

2002-09-24 Thread Greg Darby
a way to force Redhat to always boot from the SCSI drive from now on after? Or will Redhat detect the card and begin booting from the SCSI device itself. The server is live so downtime must be kept to a minimum.   Any help would be greatly appreciated...       Greg Darby Systems Administrator R
