Well, I finally just created a new partition table just like the last
one. And yes, I did use fdisk. I'm not a total dumbshit, which seems
to be what the authors I heard from judged. But
no one even attempted to answer why my partition table got erased, with
no other unusual occurrences. S
Can anyone recommend a proper init sequence for a USER 56k faxmodem?
It doesn't seem to be agreeable. cua2 works fine in dialing out with
minicom but I can't get it to answer (on ttyS2) and I think the init
sequence is the problem.

What's going on? How can I have lost four partitions, just like that?
