If you have a server set up, without X, what's the easiest/best way to
stay current on patches? Is there a text version of red-carpet perhaps,
or one of the redhat network products perhaps?

On a fresh 7.1 install, I can ftp localhost without a problem on the
box.
Remote ftp sessions connect, then are "closed by remote host".
syslog shows nothing interesting.
I have checked:
