Hello
Just for the sake of argument how could I be my own Cerficate Authority
able to generate X.509 certifcates on my intranet with out having to get
Netscape Certificate server. Is there an RPM or GNU tarball that I can
download and use.
Thanks

PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips,
Hello
I am on RH5.0 and trying to compile the 2.0.32-3
and in /var/log/messages i see the following lines
Jun 3 19:00:59 tomcat modprobe: can't locate module net-pf-4
Jun 3 19:01:06 tomcat modprobe: can't locate module ppp0
how can I fix this, what setting in my kernel config need to be set?
I am trying to install the kde RPMS on a 5.0 system and I get the
following errors.
[root@tomcat RPMS]# rpm -ihv kde*
failed dependencies:
libkfile.so.0 is needed by kdebase-beta4-1
libQwSpriteField.so.1 is needed by kdegames-beta4-1
libgif.so.3 is needed by kdegraphics-Be
I cam into this discussion rather late however, I am exteremly interested
in getting Oracle onto Linux. Any information in the successful
implementation would be great including running Oracle on
RH5.0 or 4.2.
I am also interested in which Oracle version you are running is it 7.3.3
or is it 8.

Hello I am kind of new to compiling new kernels and I am having a problem.
I got the four kernel rpm's and installed them with a -i option
I then did the following
make xconfig
make dep
make clean
make zImage
make modules
make modules_install
cd /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot
cp zImage /boot/vmlin
mounting the drive.
Thanks in advance
Brian
