Hello all,
I have a RH7.1 box with 2 ethernet cards.
I need to implement redundancy on the network: in case one of the eth cards
fails, the second will automatically replace it with the same IP (No DNS
redundancy).
Is it sufficient to give both cards the same IP address?
Thanks for your help.
Hi people!
Does anybody know, is there ftp mirrors for downloading redhat-8.0?
ftp.redhat.com so overloaded, it give about 1KB/s, terrible!

There is a Yahoo users group about Linux on Dell laptops that might be
useful to you. It's linux-dell-laptops.

Is this what causes a hang on booting a new kernel when "Freeing unused
kernel memory..." appears, then init doesn't load (or execute)? I have
that problem on attempting a kernal compile under RH 7.3. There are no
errors about mounting ext3.

Sounds likely! Is it possible to copy the installation files from the CD to
the external hard drive and do the installation from there?

than when it's inserted into the device/media bay.

Netgear MA401 PCMCIA wireless card working with RedHat.
With a fresh install of RH8, what do I have to do to get this card to work?
Thanks in advance,
