This is regarding proxy settings:
I have a workstation that is connected to a machine which is connected to
the Internet.
The machine/server can get to the Internet but not the workstation, despite
me being able to ping the server
Any thoughts?
Could be some proxy settings???

I think you'll find that CPAN and rpm don't mix too well. You should
either remover the rpm, and use the version of perl that CPAN installed
in /usr/local, or remover the CPAN version and get an rpm of the Tk
module (have a look on rpmfind.net for perl-Tk).
