version and it passed pre-checks and reverse depends and is on its way to

Actually we had the Windows platform for incomign tests on
stringsAsFactors = TRUE
for checking back compatibility to older versions of R, but this is no
longer possible for new versions of R-devel.
Can you pls simply resubmit the same version?

The warning about stringsAsFactors is very new; I don't think it's even
mentioned in the NEWS, though the help ?data.frame mentions it.
So I suspect either the Windows build happened in the middle of
committing code to implement the warning, and it wasn't all tested yet,
