Hi all,
I received a message from CRAN asking to solve some build problems on
Debian introduced in a recent package submission (MODIStsp 1.3.4) due to a
test writing in the user's filespace (ops...).
After making the required changes, do I need to resubmit with the same
version number, or su
l-bin, which you are not. Maybe that helps.
Here's my (admittedly somewhat messy) travis file:

Cheers,
Benjamin

Dear all,
in a package I am maintaining (https://github.com/lbusett/MODIStsp), I use
the `gdalUtils` package as a wrapper to
call
gdal processing

Dear all,
I recon I did a mistake in my recent submission of v 1.3.3 of package
MODIStsp.
As you can see from the current check results at
https://cran.rstudio.com/web/checks/check_results_MODIStsp.html
, I am obviously missing an import call for package "gWidgetsRGtk2"
in NAMESPACE
. I'
Hi Martin,
thanks for your reply.
That's what I thought (hoped), but I wanted to be sure before submitting.

Dear all,
a quick question:
while preparing for a CRAN submission, am I supposed to include a
"configure" file and list for system requirements also if those system
requirements "come from" the packages that I import ?
Asking this because the "configure" and system requirements are already
Dear David,
sorry for the late reply: I didn't notice your message earlier since it
ended-up in a different thread.
Thanks for your suggestion: this is actually what I'm currently planning
to do, since also my package can work without the GUI.

Lorenzo

I checked this both on Windows and Linux, and it works.
Although I know that this is a bit of hack, could this be a "viable"
solution ?

Dear all, I am currently in the process of releasing this github
package on CRAN:
https://github.com/lbusett/MODIStsp
, but I am encountering some issues which I hope someone can help
me overcome. Sorry for the long message, but the problem is difficult
to explain briefly. Also, since thi
