[R] My installed R cannot run the X11 server

HI, I installed R on a Mac Book Pro running 10.10.5 and for some reason my X11.app is in a place that the R installation cannot find. How can I set the environmental variables so the X11 server will run. I also have Xquartx.app but R does not seem to find that either. Best Regards, William “J
