In your fit_bayes function, you have
getTrainPerf(mod)[, "TrainRMSE"]
What are the column name of the output of getTrainPerf(mod)?
print(colnames(getTrainPerf(mod)))
You can home in on the problem faster if you call
traceback()
immediately after the error.
