When I used s-plus to run a Buckley-James Multiple Regression Model, the
program said Object "na.delete" not found. I found that Design package
and Hmisc
package have been installed.

This is the R-help list, not the list for S-Plus. And note that you are
using a 6 year old version of the Design library.
Note that if you ever use R, use the rms package in place of Design.
