Hi,
I have a bunch of csv files to read in R. I'm unable to read them correctly
because in some of the files, there is a column ("Role") which has comma in
the values.
Sample data:
User, Role, Rule, GAPId
Sam, [HadoopAnalyst, DBA, Developer], R46443
I'm trying to play with the below code but it
objects would
automatically take the date column and use them as row ids so there is
obviously another simple loop you can generate for summing up . There would
also be easy functions once you start with xts.

When doing the t-test in the below manner will r compare each element of the
array with the relevant one. I.e. if i was comparing x and y would (1 and 0)
and (1 and 9) be treated as separate variables. Or does it just assume one
variable.
# test data
x <- c(1,1.1,1.15,1.2,1.21,1.23)

So I thought of R s/w.
I am totally blank about R.

Hi:
I have a function as follows:
my.plot<- function( x, y = NULL, ... )
{
plot( x, y, cex.axis=0.5, ...)
}
Set up the variables:
x <- 1:10; y <- x; tdf <- data.frame( x, y ); main.str <- "test"
I will exercise the function in two ways:

This works fi
Thank you for your replies. I figured out that curve has an option of add
which adds it to a previously existing graph.
Thank you,

Hi,
I have a histogram of an array of numbers.
hist(v,10)
How can I plot a function, say a semi circle,
curve(sqrt(2.25-x*x), -1.5,1.5)
in the same graph?
Thank you

Hi,
In Mathematica, if we have a 3X3 matrix A, we can get its dimensions by:
Dimensions[A] = {3,3}
TensorRank[A] = 2
In R, we have dim() for Dimensions[]. Is there any direct function similar
to TensorRank in R?
Thank you
