Hello,
I am trying to build a statically linked R linux binary that can be
shipped around to different unknown linux environments without having to
rely on its local shared libraries. However, it seems like the
configure flag
--enable-static
doesn't produce the desired effect. How may I d

When printing a plot to and svg file, text intended to be in italics is rendered
in bold (svg file viewed using both Safari 3.2.1 and Firefox 2.0.0.9.

When plotting multiple time series in a single plot, via
plot.ts(plot.type="multiple"), the cex.lab, col.lab, and font.lab arguments are
ignored

Using R 2.8.0 under Mac OS X, I find that edge labels do not change position to
account for the "horiz" argument of plot.dendrogram, for example

this seem like a sensible idea? If so, in what form should I
send the patches? I had a quick scan of the R-devel pages but
couldn't easily see what the preferred method for patch submission was.
