R-bugs. Answer: because the fact that no other application exhibits
these redrawing problems seems to indicate that R is to blame, not

When Compiz is switched on in Ubuntu Karmic R's data editor is unusable. The
window contents are garbled from the start, and when scrolling through the data
using the arrow keys the con
