I am trying to install Windows Vista RC1 in QEMU (CVS snapshot from
23/08/06) on a Linux host and I am getting the STOP error A5. Someone
reported this to the list several months ago and apparently it is ACPI
related, and someone suggested an upgrade to QEMU 0.8.2. Well, this
problem is still occur
.sys and .inf installer for Windows 2000/XP. Do the binaries
available at the QEMU Windows page linked to off of the QEMU home page
support kqemu if it is available?

In case you didn't read my earlier message, I'm running Win2K SP4 on QEMU CVS
with -kernel-kqemu and kqemu 1.3.0pre3. Host is Linux 2.6.16 (Debian sid).
