Attached is an experimental patch I threw together this evening that
adds support for FreeBSD 5.x+ device cloning to Antony's kqemu wrapper.
I haven't done just a whole lot of testing, but it passes the "works for
me" test. With it I'm able to load the module, start up a few

I've been following the qemu-user's forum thread with CoMiKe describing how
to build qemu under windows with MingW. For those of us who don't use
Linux, the regular instructions are about as clear as mud.
CoMiKe's instructions are pretty good, and as soon as a few more people give
it a try and
0.7.0 compiles fine on mingw with custom compiled gcc-3.3.6 and
binutils-2.16. This is on windows host.

I tried to compile qemu 0.7.0 on my gentoo-ppc box.
This is what the configuration script outputs:
Install prefix/usr
BIOS directory/usr/share/qemu
binary directory /usr/bin
Manual directory /usr/share/man
ELF interp prefix /usr/gnemul/qemu-%M
