Fredrik was a lovely man who was also essential to the development of
Python as it is today. I'm sorry that I only met him once, and I will miss
him greatly.

This is really sad news indeed. Fredrik was a brilliant and
innovative key figure in Python land for such a long time and
has contributed a lot towards Python's success.
