Note that upstream has already changed the way tests are run. However,
there has been no new release yet.
Works well on amd64.

Attached version of the port does not whin about missing python2.6
executable during tests. I am not sure the approach I've taken is the
best one: it may make sense to patch test/run to do something like:
PYTHON_VERSIONS = os.getenv
