The issue is whether flags like -ansi and defines like __STDC__ are
supposed to add 'features' or remove them. Personally, I have never

Hello all,
I have been trying to find the port to Audacity-1.2.3 for sound
recording and editing. This port doesn't seem to exist for OpenBSD. I
downloaded the FreeBSD current ports to my OpenBSD machine, but I have
no idea how to go about configuring OpenBSD to install FreeBSD ports.
There is als

it is picking the wrong socks.h (the one in /usr/local/include/) when
it already has one. How should I fix it, hard coding the path to its
own socks.h? changing the search order for .h files?

When there is a security issue or a completely broken port is made
working by simple changes. (the latter is only done when we feel like
it)

- Security issues
- When it is broken is some really bad way like the PLIST is broken
so you can't create a package.
Of course exceptions can be made.
