As a contributor I would like to say using 5.18 is fine as long as there are still active backports, but **using Qt 5.12** is problematic and many programs has requirement on 5.15 nowadays. To my knowledge openSUSE Leap 15.3 is still using Qt 5.12 to keep compatibility with Plasma 5.18, as a r

I'm in favor. A Plasma LTS release isn't much more work than a normal one, and it's been 6 releases since the last LTS, which was also 6 since its prior one. It seems like we kind of have an "every 6th Plasma release is an LTS" thing going on. 5.12 LTS -> 5.18 LTS -> 5.24 LTS. Nate On 12/

We've had a late request for 5.24 to be an LTS. We had previously said the final Plasma 5 release would be the one before Plasma 6, but there's no immediate sign of a Plasma 6. What do devs think of making 5.24 an LTS? Jonathan
