i'm thinking of moving the applet browser out of libplasma and into
plasma/sheels/appletbrowser/ where the two bits of code that actually use it,
the desktop and screensaver shells, can just build the code directly into
their projects.
this way we don't have to support API or ABI guaran

via a PackageStructure plugin. this should allow things to happen like the
Google Gadgets to launch the browser dialog for the GG store or whatever.

Until quite recently all of the primary graphics libraries for
Windows, Linux (and presumably Mac?) use pixels as their basic unit of
measurement. Naturally when you increase the number of pixels that
can fit in a particular space then everything consequently gets
smaller.
