news.txt is owned by nobody with 755 and apache runs as nobody.

I had problems compiling quanta on my redhat 7.1 box, I had to grab some cvs
files to fix it (Don't remember which files.. Probably whichever ones had
problems compiling - and the makefile). Quanta is a great program, it's
basically a homesite clone for Linux.

Umm, I'm fairly sure you can't do this unless you wanted
to rig up a client side application in PHP, but if you want
it so they don't have to get any software, I would suggest
Java, check out www.dialpad.com they do something fairly cool
like this.
