Also, to check what the register_globals setting really
is, make a call to phpinfo() as it will tell you the
true setting. Sometimes the wrong php.ini is edited
or the web server
One too many $'s in your code, use:
$_REQUEST['my_passed_variable']
This is how all arrays work, autoglobals are the same.
