Yesterday I've installed PHP 4.3.4 and Apache 1.3.29
on my Linux Mandrake 9.1 machine with a standard
procedure:
1. cd apache_1.3.29
2. ./configure
3. cd ../php-4.3.4
4. ./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.29
--enable-track-vars && make && make install
5. cd ../apache_1.3.29
6. ./c
