You have started a new thread by taking an existing posting and replying to

That is bad, because it breaks threading. Whenever you reply to a message,
your mail client generates a "References:" header that tells all recipients
which posting(s) your posting refers

1) How many email messages on a POP3 mailbox
2) How many new email messages on a POP3 mailbox
3) The amount of memory in Kb or Mb used up on the POP3 mail box
