[PHP] Generating .rtf file

This is my problem: I have a text in my DB in HTML format (with some tags, such as , and other). I need to include DB' text in .rtf file. And my question: is there any beautifull way to convert my HTML text to a plain text (with formatting). Maybe someone can advise me a good converting php clas
