Yes, soon, 2.9.21 which is being worked on right now will add *all* records

Hi,
I am using PowerDNS and OpenAFS (a distributed file system). OpenAFS
clients are capable of reading the names of the central servers from an
AFSDB record (instead of a file, that would be required on every
workstation). The AFSDB record is specified in RFC1183

Hi,
im try to test pdns to replace bind on our three nameservers. The main
job of these servers is to answer reverse lookups.
They handle a lot of zones. Bind takes 4.7 gb of memory. I use the bind
backend for pdns.
When i start pdns in the monitor mode i can see it start to parse the

Massimo,
Have you tried our snapshot yet? http://svn.powerdns.com/snapshots/959/
should fix most BIND problems.

Hello,
I'm trying to replace bind with powerdns (2.9.20), because it's really
faster in load and reload.
I'm trying using the bind (2) backend and just over 300,000 zones.
I find that pdns will return a "segmentation fault" randomly on me
generally during a bind-reload-now command. Any help in
