Duncan,
Thanks for the heads up. Downloading the latest from svn and compiling
it worked like a charm. I didn't have to do anything else after that,
just run pan. :D Thanks guys for such a great newsreader on my
favorite platform!
Thanks,

Hey Guys
I am still seeing a database corruption on large groups. It seems to be
tied to specific dates. Prior versions always lost from yesterday to
Sept. 18. Now it looses everything between yesterday and Oct 8. I can
update x days back to the missing date, restart pan and everything is

I have noticed that if I am running something disk intensive(working
with 5gb files) while pan is running, pan will stop/slow down while
waiting for the disk (from 600 KiB/s down to 200 KiB/s). With a dual
processor system I leave pan downloading while I am working, so the slow

Many thanks! I have reinstalled my old reliable 0.14, and
will parallel the newer version also to allow a transition.
I suspect that will just raise some new issues, but will
deal as it c

Hey Guys
Running FC5 and 0.113. Pan is soaking up 1.5gb of 2gb of memory when
left running overnight. I am not seeing a crash. I am using a lot of
large binaries (a.b.dvd etc). When I compiled I did not get any errors
and it past the checks without incident. Any suggestions?
