Hello.
My Debian's stable Pan v0.139 is not downloading my binary attachments
to the right default location. It is downloading to ~/News. I cannot
find the settings for directories in Pan client. My

Hello again.
Is it possible to reuse my old Pan v0.14.2.91's caches with Pan v0.133+?
They are in Debian, but on two different disks (old IDE/PATA and SDD).
Thank you in advance. :)

Yep. As for permissions, I don't know:
$ ls -all .newsrc
-rw--- 1 ant ant 38637 Nov 25 01:05 .newsrc
Is that bad?

Tin also has problems with this newsgroup. Urs and I are looking at this
issue. I hope Pan group fixes it too!

Hello!
I use both Tin and Pan v0.14.2.91 (don't really like the newer one) to
share the .newsrc file (not at the same time obviously) in Debian. I
unsubscribed some newsgroups.
By hand, I deleted all these unwanted newgroups with "!" in my .newsrc
file:
ald.binaries.vcdquality! 1-2
alt.binaries.
Thank you. :) I will check it out later. I assume this works for any
newsreaders beside Pan?

Hello,

So far, I am not impressed with this new Pan v0.106 I got from apt-get today
(unstable?).
It seems like a lot of features got pulled? I am using .newsrc in my home
directory with a
symbolic (ln -s) link). I also use tab layout.
Anyways, here's the list of issues:
1. I can't seem to connect to

In the older versions, Pan could share .newsrc with Tin which I loved because I
use both
newsreaders. Tin because it is text mode and fast that I can access remotely
(e.g., work).
I cannot find the option to import and use .newsrc in Pan v0.106. Was this
feature pulled or did
I overlook it?

No problems. Still CVS related. ;)

No, roaches would live through nuclear blasts. ;)

Hello,
Is it me or does Pan v0.14.2.91 fail to handle large numbers of headers from a
newsgroup? I
tried to download about 3,044,000 headers from alt.binaries.hdtv newsgroup. My
computer choked
at about 1,900,000 headers when I came back from a 30 minutes break. HDD light
was spinning, m
