Thanks for the heads up. Downloading the latest from svn and compiling
it worked like a charm. I didn't have to do anything else after that,
just run pan. :D Thanks guys for such a great newsreader on my
favorite platform!

Hi,
please check first whether there are any messages to display. please
have a look at '~/.pan2/groups/'.
if this file contains any headers ('subjects') which you would expect
to be displayed in the header pane but are not seen there -> then its
only a display problem caused by 'filtering away'
