Any chance of getting the 'g' key back to move to the next group with
unread messages? I really miss that functionality from the older
versions of pan.

When i click on the first message of a thread the thread gets expanded
automaticly.
The when i want to collapse it again it won't if click on the arrow left
of the first message.
The only way to collapse the thread again is to select another message
in that thread or anywere else and click on the a

1. Sorting
I like to sort on subject usually. Try this:
Enter a group, click on "Subject" to sort on subject.
Click again to descend sort
Click again to go back to ascend sort.
Go to a different group. No need to read anything
