It appears that nginx has difficulties starting automatically in CentOS 7
when it needs to resolve DNS names in the configuration. I'm attributing
this to systemd. Nginx stable was installed from packages.
[admin@nginx ~]$ nginx -v
nginx version: nginx/1.8.0
[admin@nginx ~]$ cat /et
Does using the --with-openssl-opt="enable-ec_nistp_64_gcc_128"
configure parameter without the *--with-openssl *cause a static version of
OpenSSL to be created for Nginx? I'm unsure as the configuration summary
then lists that the system library is being used.

Hi Nick,
There was a discussion recently that yielded a marked performance
difference between smaller and higher levels of gzip compression. I'll
echo the concerns over CPU power and would also suggest trying
gzip_comp_level 1.
