Hello:
I found that some nginx config option doesn't take effect after
modification with reload, the following is a simple test case:
nginx version: nginx/1.2.7
nginx.conf:
worker_processes 1;
error_log logs/error.log info;
events {
worker_connections 1024;
}

IPv6 support for the "access" and "deny" directives appeared in
0.8.22 almost four years ago: http://nginx.org/en/CHANGES-0.8
Nowdays we ship 1.5.3 and 1.4.2 releases:

Can anyone explain,
1) How and when the variable setter function is called?
2) Whether I should / can call it myelf to set the variable.
Use Case:
I write an access phase filter that extracts a bunch o

Howdy folks,
Whilst I'm a militant Unix guy I'm having to use the Win32 version of nginx
for a specific project which requires SSL MiTM proxying as part of a
virtualised app suite. I spent a few hours battling with an SSL error
whereby I would see the Client Hello rapidly followed by a TCP FIN fro

Hi,
Thanks for your link. Do you know which version that first had IPv6 ranges
supported in allow/deny? I can't seem to get it to work.

Hi,
I'd like to limit a range of IPv6 space to a "server" context using "allow" and
"deny". I haven't been able to find any information on how to do this in the
documentation, nor on the web. The only example I've found[1] is for fixed IPv6
adresses like so:
allow 2620:100:e000::8001;

I would really wonder if you would see a real difference between using a
tmpfs or not for the webserver's tmp body location. A tmpfs is only faster,
but as long as your storage has enough free IO resources and is fast enough
to actual write the data, you shouldn't notice.
And keep in mind: Yo
