You might want to make certain that you Nant build actually works. Are you
cleaning out the bin before you do an Nant build? If not you might still be
using your VS.Net build and thinking that it is the result of an Nant build.

ed up creating a .cvspass file on the command line and
using it exclusively to executes logins to cvs (not wishing to give my
automated build user interactive login privileges to my cvs server so I
could go after it using sspi).

Do I really need to go through the absurd little dance of setting up two
properties, one to accept command line input and one to set a default value
if the command line property has not been set? Or is my build bad? As you
can see I am using a fairly recent nightly build...
Can I third this request? I am in much the same position as the other posters
here. What specifically needs to happen in order to take the nightly builds to
a full release? Are there tasks that do not have someone assigned to them? If
so, I am willing to help.

I have to say that assuming that the major CVS options are included; solution 2
looks easier to me also. But what I really want is for the CVS tasks to support
SSPI. :-)

then the update/checkout command whether or not that seems flakey. You

There doesn't really seem to be an elegant way to do this...

hmm - works fine with latest cvs. Not sure why it would be failing on 0.84.

I am also experiencing this problem. This was working on daily builds from
November as I recall.

In my builds I include a build file that
does amongst other things (see below) This pipes all compile info to a
time stamped file (with the record task) and gives me verbose information if I
fail. It also runs all tests and generates docs when I succeed.
Hope it helps,
Kevin
I will have no issues with the naming conventions. I do not as of yet have
occasion to use the Expression Evaluator but will forward any bugs found
when I do have a reason to use the product.

I had the namespace defined in the included file but not in the calling
file. Once I had the xmlns defined in both files everything worked as I
expected.
Thanks Damir, for putting me on the right track.

I have used to external files as well. However I find that targets defined
in an include file can be called but they never actually do anything. Is
this behavior a bug or by design? If it is by design that should be
documented...

essfully patched the cvs task to allow for sspi cvsroots. If so is that
patch available? Otherwise I guess I am stuck with a suboptimal solution of
running a exec task and then a move.
