You really need to have a look at the recent NAnt 0.85 nightly builds
(http://nant.sourceforge.net/nightly/builds). These contain expression
support (thanks Jarek!!).

would like to copy all files except some to exclude, how can I go about doing

I’m new to NAnt, so forgive me if this has already been discussed….
I can’t get the fileset excludes to work. I’m trying to copy a set of files except for a few that are a certain file type. This is the general format I’ve used:

This is a known issue. Download the latest nightly build and your issue
should be fixed.
BTW. You have a fully functional NAnt - the failing testcases are some minor
issues.
