Hmm - it looks like the release packaged up an older version of the
source code. If I compare whats in the zip to whats in cvs on the 0.84
branch they are not the same ie those fixes are missing from the zip.
There might have been a mix up as both rcs are called nant-0.84.zip.

I can confirm that I experience the reported build bug also with
v0.84-RC2 freshly downloaded from
http://keihanna.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/nant/nant-0.84.zip
C:\Temp\nant-0.84>bin\nant
build.log is the out-of-the-box error before changing the default
framework in the config file; b
This issue could be due to a known issue in rc1, can you please try rc2 and
get back to us asap ?
