Hi,
My name is Pradeep, and I am a developer from Bangalore, India. I have been using NAnt
for a couple of months now in a series of .net development projects.
I was thinking of a new tool which could generate NAnt test code after inspecting the
assemblies. I was looking for help, and any devel
Thanks! It looks like the file name was the problem.
I changed it to .licenses and everything works fine.
It looks like .NET (or at least the 1.0 version of the
framework) ignores a resource file with a .license in
the file name.

Evan,
Check out Nantpad at www.nantpad.com which is a tool that gives you an explorer-type
interface for your scripts. It also has integrated help for all the tasks. I would
be interested to know if you find Nantpad useful.

Can you somehow package up a zip file containing the minimum set of files

Hi Pierre,
I have checked a new #cvslib binary into the NAnt repository which fixes
some related issues. Could you try your test again in the next nightly
build and see if this fixes the issue.
Thanks,

All,
We are trying NANT release candidate 1 (0.8.4) with the latest version of

NANT's NUnit.Framework.dll we can no longer use the NUnit GUI to run tests
Hi Pierre,

Karmous,
These tests fail because NAnt is not able to locate some tools needed for
Visual C++ support ...
You can easily resolve this by executing C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual

building NAnt.

I am a new user to Nant, but have some experience with Ant. I am looking
for a method of replacing some text in a text file. In Ant I would use
copy or move and use a filter to change the contents of the file.
Is there any Nant task that can do the replacement?
Thanks in advance,
David
