The features we want, I don't think it will be useful for public audience.
But my specific reason for asking about cocoapods is to add
IQKeyboardManager. I tried it already but somehow the arrows to switch the
text fields are missing.

you can obviously do anything you like, but if this is something that could

I don't think there is a risk. We simply decided a long time ago that
Carthage would be a good way to go. At that time CocoaPods also did not
support Swift yet. Most popular dependencies support both Carthage and
CocoaPods these days.
What do you have in mind?
