Hi,
I have a pair of firewalls with identical syslog.conf files. Nothing
special, just removed all the comments, and added a few lines for npppd
log redirection:
# $OpenBSD: syslog.conf,v 1.17 2005/05/25 07:35:38 david Exp $

Hello,
In order for OpenBSD 5.7 to recognize a Huawei 609 mini PCIe Modem , I did
these kernel modifications:
Added to usbdevs this line:
product HUAWEI MU6090x1573 HUAWEI MU 609
# make usbdevs.h
Then added to umsm.c this line:

Hi Ingo,
you are completely right, for my planned system, updating snapshots is
the much easier way, without needeing to recompile. Unfortunately
the way, how to update snapshots is not explicitely described on the
OpenBSD website. But I found good references here:

hi there
I'm running a 5.7 and installed openldap-server but I didn't noticed
that Ineed a special package for cyrus-sasl for ldap. So I deleted the
package and installed the right one. So now I got the problem that I
always get complains regarding /usr/local/lib/libldap-2.4.so.13.0

Hi,
I follow current and rebuild kernel and userland as described faq5.html
but I wonder about the following, that I could not find in the docs:
can I recompile and install everything while all the daemons are still
running (eg pf, httpd, spamd, relayd, dovecot, postgresql, ...)
or is it bett

Yeah, seem so, because PKG_PATH was set correctly.
Thank you for reply!
